About TIC

Técnico Innovation Center (TIC), an integral part of Instituto Superior Técnico, stands out as a beacon of technological advancement and collaborative learning in the heart of Lisbon. Born from a vision of unifying academia and society, TIC occupies the renovated space of the former Arco do Cego Station, now transformed into an exciting innovation hub. At TIC, students, researchers, and industry professionals come together to explore innovative ideas, showcase groundbreaking projects, and pioneer solutions to real-world challenges. This is made possible by using a spacious multifunctional area capable of hosting large-scale events, tailored to every need.

Dedicated to students of the University of Lisbon, TIC has, on the first floor, an area for studying and group work.

With funding from Fidelidade Seguros and the European Regional Development Fund, TIC is an excellent example of a dedicated collaborative effort, leveraging innovation to create a more promising future.
